For Adeola Daniel Oluwaseun, the Convener of The Reforming Network (TRN), the fight against invisible barriers isn’t just a mission it’s a movement. After years spent equipping young Africans to navigate complex systems. Adeola is making his boldest move yet: taking his flagship empowerment event, UNCAGED, across international borders for the first time.
The destination? Cotonou, Benin Republic. The date? Saturday, November 22, 2025.
The inspiration for UNCAGED struck Adeola as a realisation: too many brilliant young Africans were being held back, not just by broken external systems, but by limiting mindsets and personal fears.
UNCAGED was born to create a space for unfiltered conversations addressing everything from systemic inequality to mental conditioning.
The event’s power was proven in September 2025, when a successful virtual edition drew participants from five cities across two continents. But for Adeola, true transformation requires a physical gathering, a handshake across borders.
“Taking UNCAGED to Cotonou is our way of saying, transformation knows no borders,” he says.
The Cotonou edition centres around the powerful and provocative theme: “ Breaking Free to Thrive in a World Not Designed for You.”
This theme is Adeola’s direct challenge to the continent’s youth. He isn’t asking them to wait for favourable governments or perfect economies; he’s urging them to stop waiting and start building.

The event is meticulously designed to equip attendees—young professionals, entrepreneurs, students, and innovators from Benin, Nigeria, Togo, and beyond—with the practical tools and leadership mindsets required to architect systems that do serve their growth and vision.
Under Adeola’s direction, the event will not just feature inspirational speeches; it promises a day of actionable insights and tangible connections
Attendees will dive into a keynote session for deep insights on thriving amidst inequality and a panel discussion featuring African trailblazers sharing authentic stories of breakthrough, a crucial business grant pitch will provide visibility and financial support to budding entrepreneurs, a core component of Adeola’s belief in economic self-sufficiency.
Dedicated networking and collaboration sessions, alongside cultural exchanges, are set to strengthen TRN’s mission: building a generation of reformers who are connected, think differently, and lead differently.

“UNCAGED is more than a conference, it’s a call to freedom, Adeola emphasises. “We’re helping young Africans unlearn, rebuild, and rise beyond systems that were never designed for them.”
Through the Cotonou Edition, Adeola Daniel Oluwaseun and The Reforming Network are laying the groundwork to establish UNCAGED as a continental movement, setting fire to the limits that have long constrained Africa’s potential.
