An award-winning speaker, media psychologist and mental health enthusiast identified as Mary Ogundimu has recently organised an event tagged “Exhale: Breathe, Live, Shine” for visionary leaders who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life to rediscover new possibilities through her organization, the Multi-woman Network.
The event which lasted about 5 hours was held in Lagos, Nigeria and is said to have helped people redefine andre-access their life.
Muse.ng spoke with some of the participants, who revealed that the exercises, pitches and stories of the top thought leaders across the country caused a shift in their lives and careers.
Twelve small business owners also left with 50,000 to promote and support their businesses.
Who is Mary Ogundimu?
Mary Ogundimu is an award-winning speaker, MC and media psychologist who started her media career as a student journalist in Leadership Newspapers, covering the Judicial/Crime beat in 2012 and later proceeded to volunteer as a radio presenter in Unilag FM for about four years.
She worked in Access Bank as a customer service personnel & data analyst for six years, before resigning in 2020.

In August 2020, she was re-appointed as the president of the Young Africa Women Congress, Nigeria Chapter, after serving as the leader of the delegation for two years. She is a WIMBIZ Mentee (Class of 2021), an alumnus of the SMILE Social Innovators Program.
The award- winning speaker who now resides in Cyprus is dedicated to giving back to her home and empowering the lives of women and girls across all sectors.
Her story is also a reminder to keep pushing, exploring fields and potentials.
