Many Nigerians know Emeka Okonkwo popularly known as E-Money as a billionaire businessman, but not everyone knows his humble beginning from the Ajegunle area of Lagos where he struggled through life with his family.
E-Money as he’s fondly called grew up in Ajegunle with his elder brother, Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo aka Kcee, an award-winning artiste signed to Five Star Music.
The chief executive officer of Five Star Music who hails from Amaputu in Uli in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State is not ashamed of his humble past.
E-Money uses his story to inspire people to aspire to greatness irrespective of their current status.

The 41-year-old man is known for his extravagant lifestyle and how he flaunts his wealth on social media.
E-Money is also known to be a giver and he has a large following on social media.
His family
The music executive is married with three children after meeting his wife, Juliet, in 2003 when he was still struggling through life.
Juliet was in her second year at the university when she met her husband.
According to E-Money, Juliet was the first woman he dated.
Juliet was said to have left rich men in the Lekki area of Lagos to get married to E-Money who had nothing.
She was quoted as saying: “When we started dating, my friends were surprised that I sidestepped all the rich guys in Lekki, where I was resident for a man who lived in Ajegunle, but I was not bothered. I looked forward to getting a good job upon my graduation from the university. He didn’t even have enough money to take us back to Lagos after our traditional marriage.”
It was E-Money’s brother who sent the couple transport fare to travel back to Lagos.
On their way back to Lagos, E-Money received a phone call and was told that he had been awarded a $2 million contract.
Apart from owning Five Star Music, E-Money is also the founder of Emy Cargo and Shipping Nigeria Limited.
He also owns investments in real estate and oil and gas.
E-Money’s story has continued to be an inspiration to many that in spite of their current struggle, their dreams remain valid.
